A compact outdoor lounge configuration designed specifically for balconies and smaller outdoor spaces. The Portals Dark C-Shape Balcony Set pairs a Portals Dark 2-seater sofa with Olefin cushions and a C-shape side table whose design slides alongside or beneath the sofa arm — positioning drinks, coffee, or a laptop at seat height without occupying additional floor space. Both pieces share the Portals Dark signature: black aluminum frames with FSC-certified teak tabletops that bring natural warmth to the collection's contemporary dark aesthetic.

Product Highlights
The C-Shape Side Table
A standard square or round outdoor side table requires floor clearance on all sides — on a compact balcony where every square foot counts, that footprint can reduce usable walkway space. The C-shape table's profile slides alongside the sofa arm, positioning the tabletop at seat height beside you without occupying floor space in front of or beside the sofa. At 19" long x 12" wide x 22" tall, it is sized for drinks, a coffee cup, a phone, or a laptop — as useful for working from a balcony as for outdoor entertaining.
Olefin Cushions Included
Olefin (also known as polypropylene fabric) is a synthetic outdoor cushion material engineered for UV resistance, moisture resistance, and long-term color stability — the three qualities that determine how well outdoor cushions hold up over multiple seasons. It resists fading from direct sun exposure, dries quickly after rain, and does not absorb moisture the way cotton or standard polyester cushion fabrics do. The cushions are included with this set — no separate cushion purchase required.
Portals Dark Materials
Black powder-coated aluminum frames are rust-free and low-maintenance for permanent outdoor placement. FSC-certified teak on the tabletop and sofa accents is sustainably sourced and brings natural warmth to the black aluminum design language shared across the Portals Dark dining tables, chairs, and outdoor kitchen units.

Important Information
Assembly is required. An official LifestyleGarden assembly guide is available for this model. Measure your balcony width and depth before ordering to confirm the sofa fits comfortably with clearance for the door and any walkway.
Clean aluminum frames with mild soapy water and a soft cloth. Rinse and allow to dry. Clean FSC teak tabletops with a soft brush and mild soap, rinse, and allow to dry; apply LifestyleGarden Wood Sealer periodically to maintain the teak's appearance. Untreated teak will develop a silver-grey patina over time — cosmetic only, not structural.
Clean Olefin cushions with mild soapy water and a soft brush. Rinse and allow to air dry. Do not machine wash. Store cushions indoors during extended off-season periods or in heavy rainfall, and use a purpose-fit furniture cover for the sofa and table if leaving them outdoors.
Frequently Asked Questions
What exactly is a C-shape side table and how does it work with the sofa?
A C-shape side table has a C-profile base that allows the table to slide alongside the sofa arm, positioning the tabletop at seat height next to you without the table's legs occupying floor space in front of or beside the sofa. This makes it particularly practical on compact balconies where a standard square side table would encroach on walkway or seating space. The table sits at 22" tall — a convenient height for drinks, a coffee cup, a phone, or a laptop while seated on the sofa.
Are the cushions included?
Yes. Olefin cushions are included with the 2-seater sofa in this set. No separate cushion purchase is required. Olefin is a weather-resistant, UV-resistant synthetic outdoor fabric that resists fading and dries quickly after rain — suitable for leaving outdoors through the warm-weather season.
How large is this set? Will it fit on a standard balcony?
The 2-seater sofa is 30.59" deep x 67.79" wide x 28.75" tall. The C-shape side table is 19" long x 12" wide x 22" tall and is positioned alongside the sofa rather than in front of it, minimizing the combined floor footprint. This set is designed specifically for balcony scale — measure your balcony width and depth before ordering to confirm the sofa fits comfortably with clearance for the door and any walkway.
Does this match other Portals Dark collection pieces?
Yes. The Portals Dark C-Shape Set shares the same black aluminum and FSC teak design language as the Portals Dark dining tables, chairs, and outdoor kitchen units. If you have other Portals Dark pieces, this lounge set will integrate visually with your outdoor setup.
