Product Highlights
FSC-Certified Teak Top
FSC certification means the teak used in this set is sourced from forests managed to strict environmental, social, and economic standards set by the Forest Stewardship Council. Teak's naturally high oil content makes it inherently resistant to moisture, rot, and insect damage without annual sealing. Left untreated, it develops a silver-grey patina over time; apply LifestyleGarden Wood Sealer periodically to maintain the original sanded appearance.
Complete 8-Seat Configuration
This set includes the full complement of eight Nassau carver armchairs with the 82" Portals Dark table — the same table used across the Portals Dark dining configurations. If you regularly entertain eight guests, the 9-piece set gives you the complete, fully matched setup from day one, with no separate chair purchases.
Black Aluminum Frames
The table frame and chair frames are powder-coated black aluminum — rust-proof, structurally strong, and finished to match across every piece in the set, in the Portals Dark sanded black look.
Nassau Carver Armchairs
Eight Nassau carver armchairs are included. The carver format, with armrests, gives each diner a substantial, comfortable seat suited to long outdoor meals.

Important Information
Assembly is required for both the table and chairs. Follow the official LifestyleGarden assembly guides for both pieces.
Care: clean aluminum frames with mild soapy water and a soft cloth, then rinse and allow to dry thoroughly. Clean the FSC teak top with a soft brush and mild soap, rinse with water, and allow to dry completely before applying any treatment.
Finish: apply LifestyleGarden Wood Sealer periodically to maintain the sanded finish and protect the teak from weathering. Untreated teak gradually develops a natural silver-grey patina — a cosmetic change that does not affect structural durability.
For off-season storage, use a purpose-fit outdoor furniture cover to protect the full set.
Frequently Asked Questions
How does this set compare to the Portals Dark 4-Seater Dining Set?
Both sets use the identical Portals Dark 82" rectangular table and Nassau carver armchairs. The difference is the number of chairs included: this 9-piece set includes 8 chairs at $4,247, for a full 8-seat configuration from day one, while the 4-seater configuration includes 4 chairs with the option to add more later.
How many people does the table seat?
The table is 82.08" long and 37.5" wide and comfortably seats 6 to 8 guests. This set includes 8 Nassau carver armchairs, providing a full 8-seat configuration — three chairs per long side plus one at each end gives 8 seats at a comfortable dining width for armchairs.
Does the teak top require annual maintenance?
No — teak does not require annual sealing to remain structurally sound outdoors. Its natural oil content provides inherent weather resistance. Without treatment, teak gradually develops a silver-grey patina over time, which is a natural weathering process and does not indicate damage or deterioration. To maintain the original sanded black appearance, apply LifestyleGarden Wood Sealer periodically. This is optional and cosmetic, not a structural requirement.
Can I add more Nassau carver chairs to this set later?
Yes. The Nassau carver chair is available separately in the Portals Dark collection. If your entertaining needs grow beyond 8 guests, additional chairs in the matching black aluminum finish can be added for a consistent look. Contact us for individual Nassau carver chair availability and pricing.
