Product Highlights
Designed for Indoor Installation
The Indo is Mr. Steam's dedicated indoor sauna collection, engineered for interior environments rather than outdoor exposure. An indoor installation places the sauna adjacent to living spaces, so finish quality, room integration, and electrical routing matter — the Indo answers with vertical thermal aspen panels, concealed wiring, and a full-glass front. For a home gym, dedicated spa room, or any conditioned interior installation, the Indo is the appropriate Mr. Steam specification.
Full-Glass Front with Glass-Framed Door
The Indo's defining visual feature is its full-glass front with a glass-framed door, which opens the sauna interior to view from the surrounding room. The warm thermal aspen interior, bench layout, and LED backrest lighting are visible from outside the sauna, so it reads as a designed interior feature rather than a closed box installed in a corner.
Vertical Thermal Aspen Panels with Integrated Conduit
The interior wall panels are thermal aspen applied vertically, creating a taller visual rhythm that emphasizes room height. The panels also include integrated metallic conduit for all electrical wiring — heater, lighting, and control wiring runs through the panel construction, so there are no exposed wire runs or surface-mounted conduit anywhere in the interior.
Six Sizes — Heater Output Matched to Room
The Indo is available in six sizes, with heater output matched to the room: 4.5kW for smaller configurations, 6kW for mid-range, and 9kW for the largest sizes. Because the sauna is built to the specified dimensions after order confirmation, choosing the correct size is the most important decision when ordering — contact us with your available interior dimensions before ordering.
Incoloy Heating Elements, 50 lbs of Stones
The Indo heater uses Incoloy heating elements — a nickel-chromium alloy designed for high-temperature, long-cycle performance, with strong resistance to oxidation and thermal fatigue. The heater is loaded with 50 lbs of sauna stones for heat distribution and löyly — pouring water on the heated stones to produce steam. The included wooden water pail and ladle are for exactly this purpose.

Important Information
Made to order: the Indo is built after order confirmation, with a minimum 4-week lead time to build and ship. Contact us for the current production lead time before ordering if your timeline is specific. Shipping is free; a tracking number is emailed once shipped and is active within 24 hours. Orders are not shipped or delivered on weekends or holidays.
Specify your size: six sizes are available, and the sauna is built to the specified dimensions. Contact us with your interior room dimensions before ordering to confirm the correct Indo size and heater output (4.5kW, 6kW, or 9kW) for your installation.
Indoor installation only: the Indo is designed for conditioned interior environments and is not rated for outdoor use or weather exposure. A dedicated 240V circuit must be installed by a licensed electrician — heater wattage determines amperage requirements, so confirm with your electrician before ordering. The installation space must be prepared to receive the sauna, with appropriate flooring, wall clearances, and the electrical circuit in place before delivery. Professional installation is recommended, and a permanent indoor sauna installation with an electrical connection may require a permit — verify local requirements before ordering.
