The Modway Marina 10-piece outdoor teak seating set is a natural teak lounge and seating collection — generously proportioned seating pieces with plush white fade-resistant cushions on solid teak frames, designed for a patio, pool deck, or garden where the furniture is meant to stay. At 434 lbs, this is a substantial permanent installation. Teak's natural oil content makes it inherently resistant to water, rot, and insects without treatment, and the cushion covers are removable for washing. SKU EEI-1480-NAT-WHI-SET. $5,665 with free shipping. Note: this is the Marina seating set, configured for outdoor lounging and conversation seating — the Marina collection also includes a separate 10-piece dining set with an 8-seat table and dining chairs.
Why Customers Choose This Product
- Solid teak frames — inherently resistant to water, rot, and insects with no treatment required
- White fade-resistant cushions with removable, washable covers
- 10-piece lounge configuration — arrange as a sofa-and-chair grouping, L-shaped sectional, or smaller clusters
- 434 lbs of solid teak construction — pieces stay positioned outdoors, including in wind
- Teak weathers to a silver-grey patina if left untreated, or keeps its warm brown tone with annual teak oil
Product Highlights
Solid Teak — Built to Stay Outside
Teak's natural oil content makes it inherently water-resistant, rot-resistant, and pest-resistant without sealing, staining, or annual chemical treatment. Left untreated outdoors, teak weathers gradually from warm honey-brown to a consistent silver-grey patina over 6–12 months — a natural aging process that does not affect the wood's strength or weather resistance. Apply teak oil annually to maintain the original brown tone; either approach is correct.
White Fade-Resistant Cushions with Removable Covers
The included cushions are finished in white fade-resistant outdoor fabric with removable covers for washing. Fade resistance is the practical specification that makes white viable as a long-term outdoor choice — fabric that yellows or greys in UV exposure undermines the look within a single season. Removable covers keep maintenance simple: remove, wash, replace.
10-Piece Seating Configuration
This 10-piece set is configured for outdoor lounge and conversation seating — sofas, chairs, and accompanying pieces designed for relaxed seating rather than upright dining. Arrange it as a traditional sofa-and-chair grouping, an L-shaped sectional, or break it into smaller clusters for different patio zones. At 10 pieces, the set furnishes a full patio seating area without supplemental furniture.
434 lbs — Weighted for Permanence
At 434 lbs total, the Marina seating set ships freight, not parcel. The weight reflects solid teak construction throughout: individual pieces are substantial enough to stay positioned on an outdoor patio without shifting in normal conditions, including wind — a practical benefit on open patios and pool decks where lighter furniture needs constant repositioning.

Important Information
Freight delivery: at 434 lbs, this set ships freight. A responsible adult must be present to receive, inspect, and assist with placement. Confirm driveway clearance and gate access before ordering. Free shipping applies; orders are typically processed and shipped within 2–10 business days, with Economy (5–15 business days) or Standard (3–14 business days) delivery at checkout. A tracking number is emailed once shipped and is active within 24 hours; orders are not shipped or delivered on weekends or holidays. Some assembly is required, with instructions included. The set is suitable for concrete, stone, composite decking, and other level solid surfaces.
Teak care: no treatment is required — teak's natural oils provide inherent weather resistance, and the set can be left untreated outdoors year-round. Untreated teak weathers to silver-grey over 6–12 months; this is aesthetic, not structural. To maintain the warm brown color, apply teak oil or a teak-specific sealer annually. Clean with mild soap and water and a soft brush, and avoid pressure washing. Cushion covers are removable and machine washable; store or cover cushions during extended non-use to maximize fabric longevity.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between this set and the Marina dining set?
This is the Marina seating set (EEI-1480-NAT-WHI-SET) — designed for outdoor lounge and conversation seating with sofas and chairs. The Marina dining set (EEI-1489-NAT-WHI-SET) includes an 8-seat dining table and dining chairs for outdoor meals. Both use the same natural teak frame and white cushion aesthetic, so the two sets coordinate across a larger patio layout.
Does teak need to be sealed or treated?
No — teak's natural oils provide inherent weather resistance without treatment. Left untreated, it weathers to a silver-grey patina over 6–12 months. Apply teak oil annually to maintain the original warm brown. Either approach is correct; neither affects the wood's structural integrity or weather resistance.
Are the cushion covers washable?
Yes — cushion covers are removable and machine washable. The outdoor fabric is fade-resistant to maintain the white color through extended sun exposure.
