The Modway 5-Piece Outdoor Sectional Sofa Set is a modular outdoor seating arrangement with thick foam cushions in fade-resistant fabric, weather-resistant construction, and a flexible multi-configuration layout. It is available in Charcoal or White — two neutral colorways that suit contemporary, coastal, and minimal outdoor palettes without competing with surrounding materials or architecture.
Why Customers Choose This Product
- Charcoal or White — neutral, architecture-forward colorways for spaces where the furniture should complement rather than lead the palette
- Modular 5-piece configuration — arrange as an L-shape, U-shape, linear, or corner layout, and reconfigure as your space changes
- Thick foam cushions — resilient foam padding designed for extended lounging that retains its shape through repeated use
- Fade-resistant fabric — outdoor cushion fabric treated for sun exposure across multiple seasons
- Weather-resistant construction — built for outdoor placement
- Modway construction — from the same manufacturer as the Convene sectional collections in this catalog
Product Highlights
Charcoal: The Versatile Neutral
Charcoal is a deep neutral grey-black that pairs with teak, aluminum, concrete, stone, and virtually any outdoor surface material. It suits contemporary, industrial-modern, and transitional palettes, and it is the low-contrast option that lets the furniture's form read as the design statement rather than the cushion color. It is also the more forgiving of the two colors for day-to-day soiling.
White: The Bright, Resort Option
White is clean, bright, and high-contrast, suiting coastal, Mediterranean, and resort-style palettes and creating a light, open visual presence in the seating area. It pairs best with light-colored decking — limestone, light composite, whitewashed wood — and requires slightly more cushion maintenance attention to keep its appearance fresh.
Modular 5-Piece Layout
The five pieces can be arranged as an L-shape, U-shape, linear, or corner configuration to suit the scale and axis of your outdoor space, and reconfigured over time as your seating needs change. Contact us for the specific piece breakdown — corner pieces, armless middles, end pieces, ottomans, or tables — to plan your layout before ordering.
Thick Foam Cushions in Fade-Resistant Fabric
The cushions use resilient foam padding designed to retain shape through repeated use rather than flattening quickly under regular seating load, covered in fade-resistant outdoor fabric treated for sun exposure.
How It Compares to the Convene 5-Piece
Both are Modway 5-piece modular outdoor sectionals in this catalog. The primary decision factor is color palette: neutral and architecture-forward (this set, in Charcoal or White) versus color-forward and accent-driven (the Convene, in Orange, Brown, or Red). The Convene's aluminum and resin wicker frame and zippered removable covers are confirmed; contact us to confirm this set's frame material and cover type in full before ordering if those details matter to your decision.

Important Information
Frame material, surface material, cushion cover type (removable/zippered or fixed), individual piece dimensions, frame finish per colorway, and assembly requirements are not confirmed in the manufacturer's specification for this set — contact us to confirm them before ordering if they matter to your decision.
Care: wipe or rinse the frame and surface with mild soapy water and a soft cloth or brush to remove dust, pollen, and debris; rinse thoroughly and allow to dry. Avoid solvents and abrasive pads.
White cushions show surface soiling more visibly than Charcoal — spot-clean promptly with a mild outdoor fabric cleaner to keep staining from setting. Store cushions indoors or in a weatherproof box during extended non-use periods to maximize fabric and foam lifespan, and air-dry them completely before reinstalling. The frame can remain outdoors year-round; a furniture cover during extended non-use reduces debris accumulation.
Orders are typically processed and shipped within 2–10 business days.

Frequently Asked Questions
How does this set differ from the Modway Convene 5-Piece Outdoor Sectional?
Both are Modway 5-piece modular outdoor sectionals. The primary difference is colorway: this set is available in Charcoal and White — neutral, architecture-forward colors suited to contemporary and coastal palettes. The Convene is available in Orange, Brown, and Red — accent colors suited to boho-contemporary and color-forward palettes. The Convene's frame (aluminum and resin wicker) and cushion cover type (zippered removable) are confirmed; this set's frame and cover type should be confirmed with us before ordering if those details are important to your decision.
Are the cushion covers removable and washable?
Contact us to confirm whether this set's cushion covers are removable (zippered or otherwise). The Convene has confirmed zippered removable covers; this set's cover type has not been confirmed in the product specifications. This is an important detail to clarify before ordering, particularly for the White colorway, where cushion cleaning frequency will be higher.
Which color is easier to maintain — Charcoal or White?
Charcoal is significantly more forgiving for day-to-day outdoor use: surface soiling, pollen, and light debris are far less visible on Charcoal than on White. White provides a cleaner, resort-style appearance when maintained, but requires more frequent spot-cleaning and benefits from indoor cushion storage during high-pollen or high-use periods. If low maintenance is a priority, Charcoal is the practical choice.
The Modway 5-Piece Outdoor Sectional Sofa Set is the neutral option — modular, foam-cushioned, and fade-resistant, in Charcoal or White. It is the sectional that works with your outdoor space rather than defining it.
