The LifestyleGarden Portals Dark 7-Piece Dining Set pairs the Portals Dark 82" black aluminum and FSC-certified teak rectangular dining table with six Nassau Black Aluminum chairs. The chair seat and back are made from Social Plastic®, a certified recycled plastic material sourced through a program that pays local collectors in developing communities a premium for plastic waste. This version of the Nassau chair uses aluminum legs — a fully rust-free, maintenance-free chair frame that pairs cleanly with the black aluminum table. At $3,683, this is the complete 6-chair Portals Dark configuration, with the same FSC teak table and Social Plastic® chair credentials as the larger sets.

Product Highlights
Social Plastic® Seats and Backs
Social Plastic® is a certified recycled plastic material developed by Plastic Bank, an organization that establishes plastic collection ecosystems in coastal communities in developing countries. Local collectors exchange gathered plastic waste at collection points for a premium that helps fund basic family necessities including food, school tuition, and medical care. Unlike a generic recycled plastic claim, Social Plastic® is independently verified through an audited supply chain with documented community impact.
Aluminum Chair Legs
This version of the Nassau chair uses black aluminum legs instead of FSC wood legs. Aluminum is fully rust-free and maintenance-free — no oiling, sealing, or treatment — for cleaner all-weather durability and a fully cohesive dark tone with the table.
FSC-Certified Teak Table Top
The Portals Dark table top is FSC-certified teak, sustainably sourced and finished in sanded black. Teak's natural oil content gives it inherent resistance to moisture and weather, and the top provides the sole natural contrast element in the set's all-black design.
Seats Six, Room for Eight
The 82" table seats 6 comfortably, three per side, and can accommodate up to 8 chairs. This set includes 6 chairs; additional Nassau Black Aluminum chairs can be added later if your gatherings grow.

Important Information
Care: clean the FSC teak table top with a soft brush and mild soap, rinse with water, and allow to dry completely before applying any treatment. Clean Social Plastic® chair seats and backs with mild soapy water and a soft cloth or brush, then rinse and allow to air dry — the material is inherently weather and UV resistant. Clean aluminum chair legs and the table frame with mild soapy water and a soft cloth; no additional treatment is required.
Finish: apply LifestyleGarden Wood Sealer periodically to maintain the sanded black teak finish. Untreated teak develops a silver-grey patina — cosmetic only, not structural.
For off-season storage, use a purpose-fit outdoor furniture cover to protect the full set.
Frequently Asked Questions
How does this set differ from the Nassau Social Plastic® set with FSC wood legs?
Both sets use the same Social Plastic® material for the chair seat and back, and both use the same Portals Dark 82" FSC teak table. The differences are the chair legs and the chair count: this set has aluminum legs on the Nassau chair — fully rust-free and requiring no maintenance — and includes 6 chairs, while the FSC wood leg version includes 8 chairs and its wood legs benefit from periodic wood oil. Choose aluminum legs for zero chair-leg maintenance and a fully cohesive black look.
What is Social Plastic®?
Social Plastic® is a certified recycled plastic from Plastic Bank — an organization that pays local collectors in developing coastal communities a premium for gathering plastic waste. The premium directly funds basic necessities including food, school tuition, and medical care. Unlike generic recycled plastic, Social Plastic® is independently verified through an audited supply chain with documented community impact.
Can I add more Nassau chairs to reach 8?
Yes. The 82" Portals Dark table can accommodate 8 chairs. Contact us about purchasing additional Nassau Black Aluminum chairs separately to expand this 6-chair set, or about the 8-chair configurations in the Portals Dark collection.
Does the teak table top require sealing?
Sealing is recommended to maintain the sanded black finish appearance but is not structurally required. Teak's natural oil content provides inherent weather and UV resistance. Without treatment, the sanded black finish gradually weathers to a silver-grey patina — a cosmetic process that does not affect structural durability. Apply LifestyleGarden Wood Sealer to maintain the original finish.
The LifestyleGarden Portals Dark 7-Piece Dining Set delivers the full Portals Dark teak table and Social Plastic® story in a 6-seat, all-black configuration — aluminum legs on the Nassau chairs for zero maintenance and visual cohesion with the black table frame.
