Product Highlights
Sunbrella® Fabric — Why It Matters
Sunbrella is solution-dyed — the color runs through the entire fiber rather than being applied to the surface — which is why it resists UV fading instead of bleaching from the outside in. The fabric is inherently water-resistant, which helps prevent the moisture retention that leads to mold and mildew, and it is stain-resistant and cleanable with mild soap and water, or a diluted bleach solution for stubborn stains.
5-Piece Modular Configuration
The five pieces connect and arrange independently rather than forming a fixed configuration. Set the sectional up as an L-shape or U-shape, split it into separate seating clusters, or reconfigure it as your space and needs change.
White — The Right Fabric for It
White outdoor upholstery shows every weakness in a fabric: surface-dyed or poorly UV-stabilized materials yellow, grey, or stain within a season or two. Sunbrella's solution-dyed construction and stain resistance make white a practical long-term choice — it holds its color, cleans up with soap and water, and the removable covers can be machine washed when needed.
Removable Cushion Covers
All cushion covers on the Commix are removable for washing. Even with Sunbrella's stain and water resistance, outdoor cushions benefit from periodic washing during pollen-heavy seasons or heavy use — unzip, wash, and replace, with no professional cleaning required.

Important Information
Configuration: the 5-piece modular set arrives as individual components for self-assembly into your preferred layout. No special tools are required. At 83 lbs total, standard delivery applies, and individual piece weights are manageable for repositioning by one or two people. The set is suitable for any level outdoor surface.
Fabric care: brush off loose dirt and clean with mild soap and lukewarm water; rinse thoroughly and air dry. For stubborn stains, a diluted bleach solution (1/4 cup bleach per gallon of water) can be used on Sunbrella without damaging the fabric. Removable covers can be machine washed on a gentle cycle with mild soap — air dry only, do not put them in a dryer. Storing cushions during extended periods of non-use extends fabric longevity.
Delivery: free shipping on this item. Orders are typically processed and shipped within 2–10 business days. Delivery methods at checkout are Economy (5–15 business days) or Standard (3–14 business days). A tracking number is emailed once shipped and is active within 24 hours. Orders are not shipped or delivered on weekends or holidays.
Frequently Asked Questions
What makes Sunbrella® different from regular outdoor fabric?
Sunbrella is solution-dyed — the color runs through the entire fiber, not just the surface — which is why it resists UV fading rather than bleaching from the outside in. It is inherently water-resistant, which helps prevent mold and mildew, and it is stain-resistant and cleanable with mild soap and water, or diluted bleach for stubborn stains, without damaging the fabric. Most generic outdoor fabrics address one or two of these failure modes; Sunbrella addresses all of them.
Can I rearrange the sectional pieces?
Yes — the Commix is modular, meaning individual pieces connect and separate independently. You can configure it as an L-shape, U-shape, split clusters, or any arrangement that fits your space, and change the configuration as your layout or needs evolve.
Are the cushion covers machine washable?
Yes — the covers are removable and can be machine washed on a gentle cycle with mild soap. Air dry only. Sunbrella fabric also cleans well with soap and water, or a diluted bleach solution for stains, without machine washing if needed.
Is white a practical color for outdoor cushions?
On Sunbrella fabric, yes. Sunbrella's solution-dyed construction and stain resistance make white a viable long-term outdoor color — it resists UV yellowing, cleans up with soap and water, and the removable covers can be machine washed. On lesser outdoor fabrics, white is a maintenance liability.
The Commix in Sunbrella® White pairs a clean, light look with fabric specified to hold up outdoors — modular, washable, and fade-resistant through season after season of use. At $3,985 with free shipping, it is a sectional built for regular use, not just for show.
